Paul Sanderson will step down as chief executive of The Recycling Association in August to lead the UK Cleaning Products Industry Association, after three and a half years in the role. The trade body has opened recruitment for a successor, with applications closing on 24 April.
Sanderson joined The Recycling Association in 2023, succeeding Simon Ellin. He was previously managing director of market intelligence at Hanicke Robins Sanderson and editor of trade title MRW, and has worked in the recycling sector since 2004.
Sanderson said he was "proud to have guided our members through a very turbulent time where regulation and legislation has been heaped on them."
